"Turkey is one of the ten fastest growing countries in the world and aviation in particular is steadily gaining in importance there," says the MRO provider

"With fifteen airlines within a single country, Turkey offers us great potential. We want to be a reliable partner to our customers, and geographic proximity plays an important role in that regard in addition to a number of other factors," explains Wolfgang Weynell, vice president marketing & sales at Lufthansa Technik.

Ms. Fulya Türköz, office manager in Istanbul, adds: "With the help of this new office, we want to get closer to our Turkish customers and be available to them any time they need us." Lufthansa Technik maintains 24 sales offices around the world.
