Jetcraft sets up down under

Business aviation broker Jetcraft Corporation is opening an office in Australia’s Gold Coast.

Jetcraft says the new office will “amplify service to Jetcraft’s global clientele.”

Asia Pacific is soon expected to comprise approximately 10 percent of the worldwide business aviation market. Australia and New Zealand are expected to represent US$5.5 billion or 225 new aircraft over the next decade, says Jetcraft. This impressive growth, combined with an added global presence to better serve clients, spurred Jetcraft to open an office in Australia.

Jetcraft is teaming up with Mick Doohan, well known throughout Oceania as a five time Grand Prix motorcycle racing world champion, who operates an FBO in the Gold Coast and will serve as Jetcraft’s authorized representative for the region.

“Mick brings a unique combination of name recognition, market knowledge and industry experience,” says Jetcraft President Chad Anderson. We are pleased to team with him and serve this growing region for business aviation.”

“Due to factors such as size, geography and culture, business aviation is well-accepted in Australia and New Zealand,” said Doohan. “The industry is poised to take off in this region and I am excited to work closely with Jetcraft, which has a well-earned reputation for unrivaled customer service and industry knowledge.”
