Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has appointed GMR Aero Technic as its first Authorized Service Facility (ASF) in India.
GMR Aero Technic will provide heavy and line maintenance to Q400 turboprops from its facilities located at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad.
The 27,300 m2 (294,000 ft2) MRO facility is certified by EASA for line maintenance, and by both EASA and India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for heavy maintenance.

Currently, there are more than 340 Bombardier commercial aircraft in service with, or ordered by, customers and operators in Asia.
